It was an honour to breathe new life into this home that had not been updated since it was built thirty years ago.

This project is particularly close to my heart as it was so important to deliver a soft, feminine, and healing sanctuary that has been intrinsic to the client rebuilding after a life changing incident.

The brief was a request for a ‘not too literal but still there’ coastal vibe as well as opening up the overall feel that had become quite dark and creating a lightness and loftiness without moving walls or lifting ceilings. In the new kitchen a stunning curved Corian benchtop and panelled island feature, whilst elsewhere I created a dreamy loftiness using the power of colour and texture in furniture and décor, as well as making applied finishes choices that ground the larger visual elements such as luxury vinyl plank floors.

The result is a home full of bouncing light, layered textures, and patterns from nature. The colour palette of palest ochres through to deep pinks serves as a warm hug that embraces you as you walk through the home.
