This multi-level residence was newly purchased by a client who contacted me to help her personalise each space. With stunning views of the Illawarra from the living area the home still needed to connect to the personality of the family, with the bedrooms over another two levels all requiring design tailored to three very different teenagers and the parents’ retreat. The goal was to bring a wow factor to the interior that matched the impact of the views, whilst creating a cohesive home that celebrated family life.

The design concept of ‘Brushstrokes – a personal canvas’ kept to a structured colour palette based on the client’s love of the colour balance of terracotta and ink blues, with neutrals being amped up to match the richness of these hues.

Ensuring this family home was truly personal, heirloom pieces and favourite items have been curated alongside the new designer lighting and contemporary furniture selections.

Throughout the home the ceiling to floor curtains add an additional layer of pattern that bring breezy relaxed vibes.

The result is a truly joyous, expressive, and eclectic home which proves bold design is both beautiful and harmonious.
